TRANSPORTATION
Santo Domingo Airport to City Centre:
Taxi: 35-40 USD (Van/min van)
UBER: 25-30 USD (smaller car)
Hotel Embajador to Wedding Church:
A shuttle will take you from and to the hotel (only Hotel Embajador)
Santo Domingo to Punta Cana (22/10):
A Bus will take those of you who decide to extend their trip to Punta Cana (ap-rox 10.00 USD/person)

For transportation from your hotel to anywhere in downtown we recommend you to always use uber. We have reserved a block of rooms at our favorite hotel for our guests coming from near and afar to celebrate with us. The hotel Embajador is conveniently located between Downtown and the Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo. This is were we're planning to stay prior our wedding day. TRANSPORTATION IN SANTO DOMINGO AND PC
We recommend our international guests to use UBER in santo domingo, it is cheaper, safer and has nicer cars compared with local taxis. In punta cana we recommend UBER or Taxi, both are just fine.
ABOUT SANTO DOMINGO
We recommend you to always use a transportation service to get around. The Colonial Zone is a must go attraction in Santo Domingo, there's a lot of delicious restaurants, museums, bars, and cool hotel rooftops. It is important to know that it is safe to walk in the colonial zone.
CLOTHES
On october the weather is usually hot, so we recommend you to bring fresh clothes, shorts, dresses, skirts, light pants, tshirts, and comfortable shoes. If you're going to Punta Cana don't forget your sunblock and bathing suit!

We recommend you to bring USD as they are widely accepted and more easily exchangeable to DOP.
COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS
Currently there is no restrictions and all places are mask free. Nevertheless, please double check with your airline for COVID-19 restrictions when traveling to DR.
GENERAL INFO
Power outlets: For Dominican Republic there are two associated plug types, types A and B. Plug type A is the plug which has two flat parallel pins and plug type B is the plug which has two flat parallel pins and a grounding pin. Dominican Republic operates on a 120V supply voltage and 60Hz.
Tap water: We do not recommend using tab water for cooking or drinking water in DR. It doesn't have the sanitary requirements to be potable.
